To encourage the students of our members to reach the advanced levels of mental math skill, U.S. Mental Math provides scholarships to those who meet the following conditions:
- who has been a registered student in the Mental Math program provided by one of our members for at least one uninterrupted year prior to the application, and the students must remain active in the Mental Math Program at the time receiving the scholarship;
- who was officially certified by USMMF at Level 3, Level 2, Level 1, and Level Pro within past 90 days (lookup your certified level here);
- whose all subjects at the school received B or better or the equivalent grades in the past two years;
- who are able to turn in two essays, one from the student and one from the parents, describing the unique and positive educational experiences involved in learning Mental Math; and
- the same applicant cannot receive the scholarship more than once in a calendar year or for the same level.
Scholarship will be given in a check mailed out to the street address provided in the application form once the application is reviewed and approved by the committee. The dollar amounts will be provided according to the certified levels listed below:
- Level 3: $50
- Level 2: $75
- Level 1 and Pro: $100
Please provide accurate information as illegal or inaccurate information may disqualify, delay your application, or the scholarship will be retroactively returned to the organization. Applications submitted 90 days or more after the certification exam will not be accepted.
